Welcome to Season 1, Episode 9 of our B.U. Network Podcast.
In this episode, Joe “Dr Energy” & Kathryn “RaRa” Asaro, along with our guest, Mia Torr, of The Authentic Networker, discuss joy!
Mia Torr is co-founder of Authentic Networker, an international community of business networking groups based on the foundation of genuine, curious human conversations. Authentic Networker connects tens of thousands of business owners in 60 cities across five countries and leads workshops, training and coaching on networking skills for the relationship economy.
Mia knows exactly how it feels to love your business and want to have a bigger impact, and still not be hitting the mark with your one-to-one interactions. She had to burn through some relationships the hard way in order to learn how to be a better networker. She made every mistake in the book. Since then, Mia has dedicated herself to the art and science of informal business networking.
Mia has worked in education, specializing in corporate communications, curriculum design, fundraising, organizational leadership, and public relations.
In other words, she took very serious corporate messages and turned them into emotionally compelling stories and experiences that inspired people to take action.
